Rose_pierced

Rose_pierced

This card showcases just how much a little detail can dress up a card. From the small flowers stamped tone-on-tone to the paper-piercing, this card has lots of interesting pieces...none of which are difficult to recreate. A Stamp-A-Ma-Jig was used for the perfect placement of the Rose Red heart in the center of the word heart.

3hearts

3hearts

This card designed by Heather from Canada earned rave reviews at my World Card Making Day event. It really was very simple to create...and that Purely Pomegranate double-stitched ribbon adds the perfect touch...as ribbon usually does.

Turqflower

Turqflower

This card was inspired by a card made by Shannon in Arizona. The center flower is stamped in Apricot Appeal craft ink (so it'll show up on the Tempting Turquoise). And of course I had to add a little bling with the rhinestone brad in the center.

Patriotic

Patriotic

I love the colors of this card. It actually looks quite patriotic to me. I used a white gel pen on the top flowers to make them pop off the page. Inspired by Tracey Mizzell.

Wcmdsscard

Wcmdsscard

This was one of the cards I designed for myWorld Card Making Day/Breast Cancer Fundraiser event (October 2007). Very simple...just Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip cardstock, Chocolate Chip ink, white gel pen and pink gingham ribbon.

Fauxdryemboss

Fauxdryemboss

Very simple card featuring the Faux Dry Embossing (tone-on-tone cardstock) method. The tone-on-tone cardstock and white gel pen really make this simple card sing! And you should see it done in Soft Sky with Blue Bayou ink.

SimplySaidCASE

SimplySaidCASE

This is a CASE (Copy and Stamp Everything) from the Fall/Winter 2008 catalog. My Certainly Celery ink pad needed reinking, but I was in a hurry so I didn't reink before stamping...thus the variation in tones on the hearts, which I really like, lol. The colors are Certainly Celery, Not Quite Navy and So Saffron. The "friendship" is from Wonderful Words.
