CatttyGlaze

This is what stampaholics look like when a new Stampin' Up! catalog is released. The second I saw the stamp that I have used as eyes, I KNEW I could make a person. She's not pretty, but she's funny.

PatternedPetals

PatternedPetals

Had to have one "in the box" use of the Pick-A-Petal set. I stamped onto Rose Red Prints Designer Series Paper (available in a pack as a hostess benefit), then cut out the petals. Really, very easy!

BunnyCard

BunnyCard

This was a card I gave to my husband on Easter. I'd been making the Easter bunny treats so made a coordinating card.

ScallopFace

ScallopFace

A little Easter treat (saw them on various blogs and had to give it a try) I made for the pastors' families at church. The ears are a stamp from Pick-A-Petal, and of course the head is made from my favorite punch, the Scallop Punch. I drew in the rest of the details.

Surf'sUp

Surf'sUp

For this card, I tore Naturals Ivory cardstock and sponged with Sahara Sand ink for depth. I then tore some Bordering Blue cardstock and sponged Whisper White Craft on the edges to simulate breaking waves. I also sponged Bordering Blue ink on the "horizon". Before adding the torn layers to the Whisper White card, I foam brayered YoYo Yellow, Only Orange and Real Red onto the top half for a sunset effect. I stamped the surfboards from two different stamps in the Pick-A-Petal set. The design from the middle board was created by running a blender pen down the Taken with Teal-inked stamp before stamping. When I cut out the boards, I slightly rounded the pointy ends, then stuck them into the sand. The "Surf's Up!" was created with my Short Order alphabet.
