Sliderclosed

Sliderclosed

This is a slider card in its closed position. Although not an extremely difficult card, it's one best seen made. The colors are Taken with Teal and Certainly Celery... a really great combination!

Slideropen

Slideropen

This is the open view of the slider card. When you pull the top tab up, not only does a piece pop up on top, but down on the bottom. It's practically magic!

2468namebox

This is a cute little favor box that I came up with for a demonstration. It would make a nice favor and placecard, all in one! I used markers to color the flower and one of my favorite punches (Word Window Punch) to create the name tag. Colors are Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.

Bigclip

Bigclip

This is a large clip that a Secret Sister made for me using Heartfelt Thanks. It's so cheery in its Pixie Pink, Pink Passion and Green Galore color scheme.

Pocketclosed

Pocketclosed

This is a pocket card, done in Certainly Celery and Regal Rose. When you pull on the tab with the Twill Tape accent, out comes a card that you can write a sentiment on (or attach a gift card to).

Pocketopen

Pocketopen

This is the open version of the pocket card. It's very easy to make...I'd love to show you and your friends how at a workshop.

Galorestrip

Galorestrip

This was an idea I got from Stampin' Up! The colors are very summery. Notice the little green galore "ribbon"? It's actually a thin piece of cardstock. The flower was colored using markers...several different shades and tones to achieve a more natural look. See the yellowing on the leaves? That's what happens to my flowers; I cannot keep any alive.

Sageswap

Sageswap

This was a card I received in a Secret Sister swap. I love Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip together!

Inspsheet

Inspsheet

This card was created by one of my downline, Cherie Kelley. The design came from an Inspiration Sheet (no longer available) for Heartfelt Thanks. The color combo of Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive is really striking.

Wwcdandies

Wwcdandies

This card was created by coloring directly on the bold dandelion flower using Watercolor Wonder Crayons. I then misted the stamp and stamped on cardstock. Once I let it dry a little bit, I overstamped with Basic Black ink. Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive is another great color combo!

Pumpkindandies

Pumpkindandies

I CASEd (Copy and Stamp Everything) this one from Vera Schoelers. She used a more summery combo of Regal Rose, Rose Red and Certainly Celery. I chose to make mine a more late summer/autumn combo with Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. The white flowers on the Pumpkin Pie cardstock are embossed in white.

Pinkbrown

Pinkbrown

This layout design was CASEd from Jo Eades. She used Bashful Blue, I used Pretty in Pink. The ribbon and dark ink is Chocolate Chip. It looks really cool stamped over white craft ink.

Beautifulswap

Beautifulswap

I got this swap at a Leadership event in January 2006, from Kim Flynn. You may notice that the layers are distressed using a direct to paper method. The flower is colored with markers, and she outlined the flower with a darker blue marker.
