This is one of the projects I demonstrated at my September workshops. Although this one holds pencils, it could be adapted to hold all sorts of treats.
I used More Mustard, Purely Pomegranate, Whisper White and textured Blue Bayou cardstock. I dressed things up using the Scallop and Spiral punches, plus a little Purely Pomegranate double-stitched ribbon.
I created this card for one of my Round 2 Technique Clubs (I was teaching dry debossing and paper piercing).
Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi look great on Kraft cardstock!
This was also for a Round 2 Technique club...it features faux stitching on both the Garden Green and the Whisper White layers. Groovy Guava is the other color you see.
This is a card I did to showcase the Faux Diamond Dust technique. You can't tell by the photo, but the white layer sparkles a lot! And it's hard to beat the combination of Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi!
It looks like there are a couple layers to this card (besides the tulip and it's layer). But there isn't! This card features faux layering. Blue Bayou and Soft Sky really are a calming combination.
Stampin' Up! showed us a version of this card and I changed the colors a bit. It really is a great card that uses a great set and a great punch (scallop). The colors I used were Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie and Bliss Blue.
CASEd this out of the Fall/Winter Collection 2007 catalog. The Wild Wasabi butterfly is cut out and attached for dimension.
A very simple card featuring Soft Sky and Blue Bayou. By stamping the butterfly multiple times without reinking, I've made it appear she's in flight. If I had it to do over, I would've stamped the greeting in the lower right corner, but ...
The colors didn't turn out accurately. The card is actually Groovy Guava. This was a CASE of a card by Belinda King that I got in a Leadership swap.
This is a 2-4-6-8 box that I was asked to demonstrate at a workshop. I was also asked to show the Rough Edges Alphabet so I thought this would make a great party favor. Who wouldn't love to go to a party and have a special treat to take home with her name on it?!
Sorry about the quality of this picture. It's sooo hard to get a picture when Dazzling Diamonds are involved, and this has lots. The white layer is covered in Iridescent Ice embossing powder, which makes the whole layer sparkle.
This card is a Z fold card. The yellow panel is actually the right half of the front of the card folded back onto itself.
Simple, simple layout. Used markers to color the flower. Groovy Guava, Rose Red and Old Olive. The sentiment is from It's Your Birthday.
