3x3openhouse

This is one of the cards created at my Open House. Very quick and easy. The flower is stamped in Versamark...that way participants could select from Blue Bayou (shown), Groovy Guava, Soft Sky or Wild Wasabi without having to remember to clean the stamp between stampings. The background paper is from the Brocade Background Designer Series Paper that coordinates PERFECTLY with the Baroque Motifs stamp set.

This is one of the cards I made using the One Sheet Wonder (OSW) technique. Basically, you stamp an entire sheet of cardstock, then cut it up into various shapes/sizes to make different things with it. Sheets of OSW are wonderful to have on hand because you can put together a card very quickly.

I CASEd this card from Julie. I wanted it for a display but my Groovy Guava ink pad didn't come until 5:45 (I left the house at a little past 6), so in my rush the Purely Pomegranate small flower didn't quite get centered. But it's still a cute card, and I never would have thought to put Groovy Guava and Purely Pomegranate together!

I don't yet have the corner punch from Stampin' Up!, so I made these from my square punch. It takes a little more work, but it's still not difficult. The flair was stamped in both Chocolate Chip and Whisper White to give it its unusual look. I used the White Signo gel pen to add stitching to the corners.

This is one of my favorites, and it's really a quick card to make. Wouldn't it make a perfect wedding card? I'm really into Chocolate Chip and most any other color. This one features the In Color Groovy Guava.

Here's another card I made from my One Sheet Wonder. I just love the Mellow Moss, Purely Pomegranate and So Saffron color combination.

Another One Sheet Wonder card. So elegant, don't you think? The So Saffron card gives it an entirely different look from the other two OSW cards I've posted.

Another very quick card, thanks to Brocade Background Designer Series Paper. Idea from Tammy.

This idea came right from the Fall/Winter Collection 2007 catalog. It was originally shown using a set from one of the Simply Sent kits, but I modified it to use my Baroque Motifs set, which is in the same family. The little twill tab adds quite a bit of interest for its size. I thought River Rock was awful when I first saw it, and now I think it's one of the best colors ever! It can change appearance depending on what it is paired with. Here I used Chocolate Chip and Brocade Blue with it.

Another card I made up right before my Open House. That shipment that arrived about 15 minutes before I left? Yes, it carried the rhinestone brads. They are really beautiful and fun to use! They come in a variety of sizes and colors...be sure to try some out. You'll fall in love...especially if you find a little bling appealing. This card features Purely Pomegranate and River Rock.

This "sour cream container" also came from my sheet of One Sheet Wonder. Wouldn't this make a great party favor at a wedding? It's elegant and cute...and it'll hold candy. What more could you ask for?!

12x12

This is a 12x12 sheet of Very Vanilla stamped in River Rock, Elegant Eggplant and Almost Amethyst. I just love making my own "designer" paper and this set makes it very easy!

This is a close-up of the 12x12 patterned cardstock that I created with River Rock, Elegant Eggplant and Almost Amethyst. Isn't it elegant?

This page was done for an assignment during the Business Builder Boot Camp that I held for interested downline. I used Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery and Almost Amethyst. The "ric-rac" was made using the Scallop Edge punch.
